Quantum.Amsterdam makes appearance at several conferences

The start of the academic year is a rather busy month, during which you can find Quantum.Amsterdam and our partners at several major conferences.

On 22-23 September, a major Dutch delegation took part in the Quantum Computing Summit in London. In the panel on “How Quantum Ready Are You?”, our Community Manager Koen Groenland discussed challenges for end-users, together with representatives from Bosch, Equinor and the UK National Quantum Computing Centre. A quote from this session:

Later, other prominent Dutch speakers appeared in the panel on Enterprise Architecture & Technology Stack, featuring Niel Bultink (CEO of QBlox), together with Amber Van Hauwermeiren (Orange QS), who was kind enough to step in last-minute as moderator. Moreover, Quantum Delta NL and Quantum.Amsterdam co-organized a side-event that invited a select group of innovation scouts for the financial industry, allowing some relieving face-to-face contact with industry.

Several other conferences are on the agenda.

On 14 October, you may find Business Developer Maarten Wijdekop at the conference CES Unveiled, taking place in the RAI venue hall in Amsterdam.

On 13 and 14 October, a delegation including Maarten Wijdekop, Dimitri van Esch, Koen Groenland and Hans Roeland Poolman can be found at the World Summit AI in Amsterdam.

On 18 November, Quantum.Amsterdam hosts it’s very own conference at Startup Village, Science Park. You can find more information about this on our Meetup.com page.
